Kieran Ricardo

Kieran is a research software engineer, working in the atmospheric team on improving the usability of the Unified Model (atmosphere model) and coupling it to the other Earth system components.

Favourite aspects of his work include optimising climate models for high performance computing, collaborating with the research community and helping to accelerate climate change research.

He obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) and a Bachelor of Science at ANU in 2019. He is currently undertaking a Masters of Mathematical Sciences at ANU.

Outside work, Kieran loves climbing, reading and playing games.
