Christian Jakob

Christian is an atmospheric modeller and is a member of the ACCESS-NRI Scientific Advisory Committee.

The favourite part of his work is to enable others to achieve their goals, be they in research, teaching, or any other aspects of academic life. He also enjoys collaborating with others and helping to build collaborative efforts that address big problems – just like the ACCESS NRI.

Outside work, Christian enjoys being outside. He also loves walking his dog, Knut the Cocker Spaniel. He also plays golf, which makes him very reliant on the forecasts the ACCESS system makes. Another favourite pastime for him is to read a good book whilst listening to some nice music. And it is said that he watches way too much football – that’s the round ball version!
