October 9, 2024 - October 10, 2024
The ACCESS Land Surface Modelling Community Working Group is organising a workshop on 9-10 October 2024. The workshop can be attended online or in person. It will be hosted at the CSIRO Black Mountain site in Canberra. Registrations are now open.
AGENDA
Wednesday 9 October (9:30 am-5:30 pm): The first day will be dedicated to presenting the community’s current research and discussing key topics of interest.
Thursday 10 October (9:00 am-4:00 pm): This day will be a hackathon-style day with various groups working on shared capability for the Land Surface Community Working Group.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO PRESENT?
If you want to give a talk or propose a topic of discussion, please register before Sunday, 11 August 2024. We can not guarantee a talk or topic proposed past that date will be considered for the program.
We welcome presentations on topics of broad interest to the ACCESS land community. Ideally, these should be subjects applicable to both CABLE and JULES, such as:
- tools for the evaluation of land model outputs
- input datasets for characterising land and vegetation
- observational datasets for driving or evaluating models
- science developments or broad model evaluation
- future plans for land surface modelling
