ACCESS Community Workshop 2025: Oral presentations and Poster Guidelines
Presenting at the workshop?
PRESENTATION TYPES
The Program contains a mix of the following presentation types:
- Talks (12+ minutes) - at the main Workshop, either in parallel or plenary sessions (Wed/Thu)
- Posters (+lightning talk 1 min) – at the Main Workshop or during the Community Working Group meetings (Wed-Fri)
- Talks (12+ minutes) at one of the Community Working Groups Meetings (Friday)
- Lunchtime (45 min +) sessions at the main Workshop (Wed/Thu)
Oral Presentations
These talks will be located as talks on the Main Workshop (Wed/Thu), or as part of one of the Community Working Group meetings (Friday).
Poster Display
These will include a 1 min lightning presentation during one of the parallel sessions (Wednesday-Thursday) or at the Community Working Group meetings (Friday).
Lightning talk presentations will be 1 minute in length for a single presentation slide. Creativity is encouraged, and there will be prizes for Most Creative Lightning Talks and Best poster. The idea of the lightning talks is to introduce your poster in a 1 minute 1 slide presentation, to encourage longer discussions in front of your poster during the poster sessions.
The poster must not exceed the size of A0 (1189-841mm) and be brought along to the Workshop for display. Portrait format is preferred to landscape, as our poster boards are slightly smaller than A0 landscape. All posters will be displayed for the duration of the Workshop. Poster presenters are required to attend the poster sessions.
Please note: we cannot guarantee all submission preferences will be met. While we strive to fulfill as many preferences as possible, limited speaking opportunities are available. Some requests for talks may need to be allocated poster / lightning presentations. We thank you for your understanding.
