Data Management Lead

Clare is the ACCESS-NRI’s Data Management Lead. Clare is responsible for developing the ACCESS data management infrastructure and managing the data release program that serves the Australian research community. This includes ACCESS model outputs and related datasets for model evaluation.
Clare enjoys working in data management because data plays a fundamental role in science and decision-making. Not only is it highly satisfying to help the scientists and developers do their amazing work, but Clare also has the opportunity to learn new and interesting things.
Clare has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Applied Physics), University of South Australia, 1993. She also has two Master’s Degrees – Master of Business Administration (Technology Management) from Latrobe University, 2003, and a Master of Media Practice, from the University of Sydney, 2008.
Outside of work, Clare enjoys walks with her dog, Max, cloud-spotting, travelling and doing cryptic crosswords.
